Ashley Andersen is a licensed intervention specialist for mild to moderate needs. She graduated from Kent State University with her bachelors in special education. She has worked in a variety of settings including home based programs, private, and public schools. Ashley has been with Kidslink School since June 2015, and says she has loved her experiences here each and every day! She began working here with students in the lower school, and then went on to work with kids in the intermediate school. Ashley’s favorite part about teaching is getting to see the look on a child’s face when they learn something new!
Megan Szczepinski is an intervention specialist who completed her undergraduate degree at University of Mount Union. She is in the process of completing her master degree of Education in Foundations in Behavior Analysis. Megan has worked as an ABA therapist at KidsLink since February 2015.
Amber Henwood is an Educational Coordinator in the Lower School. She recently graduated from Kent State University in December of 2017 as an Intervention Specialist. Amber is currently pursuing her master’s degree in Early Childhood Intervention as well as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst certificate from Kent State University.
Allison Peck is an Educational Coordinator in KidsLink’s Lower School. She completed her bachelor’s degree in psychology, from Temple University in December 2015 and completed her master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, from Ball State in May 2018. She is currently studying to sit for the Board Certified Behavior Analyst Exam. Allison started at KidsLink in June 2016 as a behavior therapist. She has worked with students in the secondary as well as intermediate classrooms. Her time at KidsLink has been full of wonderful memories and she has loved every minute of it. Allison’s favorite part about her job is seeing the children genuinely laugh and have fun.
Samantha Chesney is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and has been a member of the KidsLink School since 2014. She graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a Masters of Education and Foundations in Applied Behavior Analysis. Prior to working as a therapist within the school, Samantha worked in the home setting. Her favorite part of being an Educational Coordinator is getting to celebrate each and every victory with her student’s. She loves watching them succeed and doing their very best each day.
Kaitlin Hazlett is an Intervention Specialist with a Masters in Education from Kent State. Kaitlin has degrees in Art, psychology and special education and has worked in both public and private school settings. Kaitlin enjoys teaching content that is both academic and functional in nature. She enjoys seeing her students make connections from academic material to real life applications. Kaitlin enjoys connecting behavioral, academic, and life skills together into one unit and seeing students flourish in all settings.
Shannon Lepri is a board certified assistant behavior analyst and has been a member of the KidsLink family since 2013. She graduated from the University of Akron with a bachelor’s degree in Speech Language Pathology and Audiology. Shannon implements a variety of teaching methods throughout the day to ensure her student’s success across environments. Her instruction focuses on vocational, behavioral, and communicative training. Shannon is always up for spontaneous celebrations and adventures with her students!
Kim Kotynski graduated from the University of Akron with her Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education and her Master’s in Special Education. She has worked in the field of special education in a variety of settings, including home-based programs, private and public schools. She enjoys working with students of all ages. She enjoys helping to build a foundation of learning for her students and helping them reach their full potential. To her, the sky is the limit as to what they can learn!
