Meet Our Staff

  • Administrative Staff
  • Jocelyn Geib, Ph.D., CCC/SLP is a licensed speech and language pathologist. Dr. Geib completed her Ph.D. in Education-Learning and Development from Cleveland State University.
  • Rachel holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Psychology, which she received from Kent State University and the University of the Rockies in Colorado Springs, respectively.
  • Michelle DePolo, Psy.D., BCBA-D is a clinical child/pediatric psychologist with KidsLink Neurobehavioral Center. She finished a pediatric psychology clinical fellowship at The Cleveland Clinic Center for Autism and then was on staff for two years.
  • Clinical Director/Behavioral Consultant: Coordinates behavioral management team in the school. Oversees ethical and system related issues.
  • Curriculum Director/Behavior Consultant: Coordinates curriculum use and development for individualized student programming. Oversees behavioral progress within the school program.
  • Shannon Lepri is a board certified assistant behavior analyst and has been a member of the KidsLink family since 2013. She graduated from the University of Akron with a bachelor’s degree in Speech Language Pathology and Audiology.
  • Dr. Balan earned her doctorate in Special Education from Kent State University with a focus in Applied Behavior Analysis and Pharmacological Interventions. She is also a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, with a specialization in Behavioral Pharmacology.
  • Ashley Andersen is a licensed Intervention Specialist. She is currently working on obtaining her P.hD in Educational Leadership. Ashley oversees the intermediate and secondary classrooms at KidsLink.
  • Megan Szczepinski is an intervention specialist who completed her undergraduate degree at University of Mount Union. She is in the process of completing her master degree of Education in Foundations in Behavior Analysis.
  • Behavioral Consultants
    The KidsLink School staff include behavioral therapists that receive extensive training and ongoing supervision of professionals who have had advanced training and experience in behavioral principles and methods. All of our programs are overseen by a board certified behavior analyst.

    Master’s or Doctoral-level board certified behavior analysts work with students regularly to ensure that programming is of the highest-quality. Overseeing student programming is our program coordinator that assures progress, training of therapists and ongoing support to the staff. Each student has a primary therapist and secondary therapist to ensure generalization of skills.

    The KidsLink School Behavioral Consultants oversee behavioral progress within the school program. They are responsible for conducting all necessary behavioral assessments and reporting, including formal school behavior support plans.

  • Educational Coordinators
  • Samantha Chesney is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and has been a member of the KidsLink School since 2014. She graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a Masters of Education and Foundations in Applied Behavior Analysis.
  • Kaitlin Hazlett is an Intervention Specialist with a Masters in Education from Kent State. Kaitlin has degrees in Art, psychology and special education and has worked in both public and private school settings.
  • Amber Henwood is an Educational Coordinator in the Lower School. She recently graduated from Kent State University in December of 2017 as an Intervention Specialist.
  • Allie Klein is an Educational Coordinator for one of our Secondary teams. She completed her bachelor’s degree at Miami University with a degree in Kinesiology and a minor in Special Education.
  • Kim Kotynski graduated from the University of Akron with her Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education and her Master’s in Special Education.
